Nicole is Executive Vice President at Miller Wenhold where she utilizes her Congressional and policy experience to advocate on behalf of clients across Miller Wenhold’s practice groups. Nicole uses her expertise to develop and implement strategy from legislative policy to political and issue campaigns.
Nicole started her career serving in Senator Barbara Mikulski’s (D-MD) office in Washington D.C as a member of the Senator’s health care team. She developed legislative talking points, conducted stakeholder meetings, and was a liaison between HELP committee staff and the Senator’s office. In addition to legislative and policy experience Nicole has served on multiple congressional campaigns organizing GOTV strategies, and forming legislative priorities.
In addition to her role at Miller Wenhold, Nicole is currently serving as Director of the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (NILE), a trade association for government affairs professionals. In this role Nicole is responsible for the marketing & communications for the association. This includes positioning and branding strategy, convention and event promotion and marketing, member and industry publications, member retention and recruitment programs, media relations, market research, and visual design.
Nicole received her Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Salisbury University and her Master's Degree in Public Policy from George Mason University.
Nicole became a champion in 2018 when her Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl and again in 2019 when the Washington Mystics won the WNBA Championship!
